There are gun events… and then there’s GunCon.
If you’ve never been, GunCon is one of those events that stands in a lane of its own. It’s more than just a place to walk around and check out products. It’s a collision of industry, media, education, and community that brings together some of the biggest brands, creators, and voices in the firearm space. For content creators, it’s a place to connect, collaborate, and create. For the everyday gun owner or enthusiast, it’s a chance to see what’s new, meet the people behind the brands, and be part of the energy that keeps this community moving forward.
That’s what makes GunCon special. It isn’t only about gear. It’s about the people, the relationships, the conversations, and the shared passion that keeps this industry strong.

What is GunCon?
At its core, GunCon is a firearms industry event built to connect brands, creators, and the general audience in one space. It gives companies the opportunity to showcase products, introduce new gear, and connect directly with the firearm community. It also gives creators a place to build content, strengthen relationships with industry partners, and engage with the audience face to face.
For the public, GunCon is an opportunity to get closer to the brands, products, and personalities they usually only see through social media, YouTube, or podcasts. Instead of just watching from a distance, people get the chance to be part of the experience.
That’s a big difference.
Who is GunCon for?
One of the things I appreciate most about GunCon is that it serves multiple parts of the community at once.
For content creators, it’s a huge opportunity to network, film, ask questions, shake hands, and build real relationships with the people and companies shaping the firearm industry. In a world where so much communication happens through email and DMs, there’s still nothing like being there in person.
For the general audience, GunCon is a chance to walk the floor, see new products, talk with brands, meet creators, attend panels, and enjoy being around people who genuinely share the same interests. Whether you’re deep into the gun world or just growing in it, events like this help make the community feel more connected and accessible.
What brands will be there?
Another major draw of GunCon is the variety of brands involved. Events like this bring together manufacturers, optics companies, accessory brands, gear makers, and innovators from all across the space. That means attendees get to do more than scroll product pages online or watch release videos. They get to see gear up close, ask questions directly, and get a real feel for what’s worth paying attention to.
That’s one of the best parts of any event like this. You can only learn so much from pictures and specs. Sometimes you need to put your eyes and hands on something, talk to the people behind it, and understand where it fits in the bigger picture. Brands will be added as the event gets closer so stay tuned to the GunCon website for announcements www.guncon.net.
Why this matters for the community
The firearms community grows when people show up, connect, and invest in it. GunCon helps do exactly that.
It creates a space where people can learn, discover new brands, build friendships, strengthen partnerships, and keep the momentum of the community moving in a positive direction. It also gives creators and attendees a common meeting ground. That matters because this industry isn’t built only on products. It’s built on relationships, trust, shared values, and a passion for the lifestyle.
That’s why events like GunCon matter. They bring the online world into real life.
Exciting news from me for GunCon 2026
This year, I’m especially excited because I’ll be a panelist on the Next Gen panel at GunCon 2026.
That’s a huge honor for me, and honestly something I’m really looking forward to. I’m excited to meet many of you in person, answer your questions, share perspective from my experience in the space, and just connect further as we continue growing this community together.
I’m also proud to represent the GunCon community and The Gun Collective, which has helped host and build this event into something meaningful for the firearms world. At the same time, I’m grateful to still be representing many of the brands I’m connected to and genuinely believe in, including Tag Precision, Brownells (coupon code BOP10), Monsoon Tactical, Mad Science Tactical, Artillery, and many of the other brands I’m actively building partnerships with.
To me, that’s what makes this moment special. It’s not just about showing up to an event. It’s about being part of a larger movement in the community while continuing to represent the companies and relationships I’ve built along the way. I take a lot of pride in that. Being able to stand in that space, support the event, connect with all of you, and continue growing with great brands in the industry is something I don’t take lightly.
For me, this is one of the best parts of being involved in this space. Yes, the gear is cool. Yes, the brands matter. But the real value is in the people. Getting the chance to talk face to face, hear what others are building, learn from each other, and keep pushing the community forward is what it’s really about.
So if you’re coming to GunCon 2026, definitely come say hello. I’d love to connect with you.
Final thoughts
GunCon 2026 is shaping up to be more than just an event. It’s a place where the firearm community comes together — creators, brands, and everyday enthusiasts alike. It’s where you can discover new gear, hear important conversations, meet great people, and be part of something bigger than just another show.
And this year, with me joining the Next Gen panel, I’m even more fired up to be there and be part of the experience.
